Restaurate Haus Schuurman

Haus Schuurman has a nearly 100-year old history and is the last building designed by Rudolf Steiner on the Goetheanum Campus. For some years it has been in real need of restoration since water is leaking into the wooden structure of the house. 

The Goetheanum Alumni and present students who initiated this campaign, feel a deep love for the building and want to do their part, to help restore it in preparation for its 100 year anniversary. Securing the place for the Anthroposophical Studies on the Goetheanum Campus for the future.

We are not only reaching out with this homepage - where you can directly donate to the Goetheanum but also through the crowdfunding platform, to reach out to people who are not related to the Goetheanum but have a love for Architecture and extra education. 

Our aim is to fundraise CHF 100.000 by next summer so that the project can commence. For the whole restoration, a sum of CHF 600.000 will be needed, and we hope to help fundraise it over the coming years.
